Children
For health reasons, children under the age of 6 (six) are not admitted to concert venues (including boats & trains). The organizers decline all responsibility and liability for any damage to human organs resulting from infringement of this rule.
Ticket holder under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Montreux Jazz Young Planet & Nursery
Montreux Jazz Young Planet
The “Montreux Jazz Young Planet ” is a place conceived and designed for and by young people. Situated on the lake promenade at Rouvenaz, it’s a place to talk and meet up in a creative and entertaining atmosphere. From 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., the Young Planet offers a number of free activities, such as dance, music or discussion forums. Promoting an alternative type of festival, the area is guaranteed to be alcohol and smoke-free.
Kindergarten
A free daycare is ideally situated a stone’s throw from the Festival, directly opposite the Music & Convention Center in the German Church which stands between the gas station and the Palace. The kindergarden is located in an area protected from people and noise. professional child-carers look after children aged 3 to 10 in a protected area ( 2pm-1am from Sunday to Thursday, 2pm-2am on Friday and Saturday). Children can stay a maximum of 4 consecutive hours.
